Wikipedia> In August 2007, Arudou equated the use of the word gaijin with reference to foreigners in Japan with the use of the word nigger in reference to blacks in the United States.[30]
This elicited a significant reader response in the Japan Times, where Arudou writes a regular column. Most of the published responses were critical of Arudou's position.[31]

>>> In 2005, Yuki Honjo released a review of "Japanese Only" on Japanreview.net[32] ・・・
In her review, Honjo says that "As a primary resource, Japanese Only is virtually unusable" due to bad punctuation, "self-indulgent writing" and "stylistic devices that detract from the 'record.'".
Most of the published responses to Honjo's review were critical of Arudou and his methods.[33] ___________

Arudou was born in California in 1965. He first visited Japan as a tourist on invitation from his pen pal (and future wife), for a few weeks in 1986. In 1989, they married followed by Arudou's move to Japan.
To your credit, you've gone the extra mile to put Mr. Arudou's concerns at rest, but I honestly see little improvement in his behavior towards others.
He continues to refer to Wikipedia as a "kangaroo court," despite warnings from The359.
He continues to assume bad faith of users.
He is uncivil in his language about Wikipedia and its contributors both here and his website, and unfortunately, he doesn't seem to care about such policies as WP:ATTACK, among many others.
I admire the way you contacted several venues (you have more patience than I), but at some point (as C.S. says) it becomes overkill.
Truth be told, like many who seek to shock, Arudou may not really believe what he says about how racist and xenophobic Japan is and probably feels astounded when taken seriously.
Debito Arudou who was originally called David Christopher Aldwinckle was born in New York. He moved to Japan where he still lives. He is a social activist who tries to improve the situation of non-Japanese people in Japan. Opinions about him are mixed.
